april was pretty usual. we all enjoyed not getting up for 8 o clock church general conference weekend. we had fun preparing for easter between sessions on saturday. and then making yummy food on sunday. it was nice and simple. but perfect for us. ryker loved his mini easter egg hunt in the morning and his fun basket. he got some crayons and a few coloring books and even a mini magnetic drawing board. i have no idea what its called. i remember last year is when i told justin i was pregnant again. it was exciting! im happy to have our little girl here now.
ryker is learning more and more words. still working on consonance, but he is getting so much better. he is at least trying to say lots of words. rylie is getting so big. she can roll over from her tummy to her back and is so close to rolling from back to tummy. she will roll over on her side but hasnt figured out how to get past there without a small nudge from mom. RYKER CAN OFFICIALLY SAY MOM!!!!! that has been the highlight of my month. took forever. but now he says mom and points to me and knows its me. its the best feeling ever. i love it everytime.
really we just spend our days hanging around the house. we go out and play outside on good days. we have started to go to the library sometimes. one day we went and met curious george. ryker did great. he wasnt scared at all. he even got a high five.
one weekend we went to an exhibit called jurrasic quest. it travels the country and it has some cool life size dinosaurs. it was really awesome. we got to make a fossil too. ryker was a little apprehensive at first because they were so big! and made very loud scary noises. but he got better eventually. as long as dad held him close. it was a lot of fun.
we are happy for warm weather and we can get out more. we are learning about more things to do around town. we are enjoying our time here more and more. i do admit. its better in the spring/summer when its warm enough to go out!
