Deitrick Detail: Happy Birthday Rylie!!!

So in the last week of our vacation Rylie celebrated her first birthday! We are so happy that she is in our family and love how much she has grown and become her own unique independent individual. She definitely does her own thing in her own way and its so awesome to get to watch her grow.

She is our big girl, weighing in at 22 lbs 2 oz. the dr says that this is the perfect ideal weight for a 1 year old. yahoo! she is 31 inches tall. i dont know what is average, but apparently that is tall for her age. maybe by and inch or 2. but thats okay. we love our tall girl. i love the cheesy smiles she gives us. she is so wonderful.

anyways, so we spent the day playing with her and helping her feel special. im sure she thought it was just a normal day, but we tried to make it special. we went out to lunch at Red Robin to celebrate. i admit it is more of a celebration for me. i love that place. we were also celebrating carlee graduating from her masters program. yahoo! good work. lots of reasons to party. then we came home and had cupcakes for rylies birthday. then opened presents and rylie went to bed soon after. birthday or not bed time is still the same. sorry girl.

we love our rylie and look forward to many more years and to see how much she will grow this next year. Happy Birthday Rylie Annabelle!
