Deitrick Detail: The Fast and The Furious: Easter

Okay, so i am behind on my april post, and really its going to be lumped into my may post because so much has happened! I probably for got a lot of things, but i will do the best i can to remember most of it. But i decided that we are going to do quite a few little posts in hopes that i can keep everythigng straight.

first comes first, the big fun we had in april was dani and lottie came to visit! It was so fun to have them finally come and see us all the way here in North Dakota. it was their first time here. Everyone else has come to visit except Ethan.... come on boy, get on that. We still have an invite to all of Jusitns family too! but between school and other busy schedules, it hasnt happened yet. Though his parents have come a few times and we love it! we are expecting another visit in June and its going to be a blast. woohoo! even though we are super far from family, we still try to have a good time and make the most of it. thanks fam for taking the time to come visit.

anyways, so it was fun for them to come and hang out, plus it was easter weekend so we had tons of fun doing all the holiday stuff. we went to the downtown easter hop. basically its like trick or treating, but for easter. the kids had a blast. It was my first time and it turned out pretty well. no one cried too hard sitting with the easter bunny. maybe we will be brave enough to sit with santa this year.... we will see.

For joyschool that week we had an easter party. the kids made some fun pictures, we decorated hats, and gave out easter eggs. it was a lot of fun and im glad lottie got to join in the fun as well. While we were at the easter party ryker found a toy bird cage. he decided that that is where his eggs should go. it was cute that he was trying to put it together.

we gave the kids a few peeps in their easter basket. Ryker took a look at it and asked what is that? I told him those are peeps, they are a fun marshmallow shaped like a a chick. He then says oh! mom can i have some poops? bahahahahha. so close buddy... so close.

We decorated easter eggs, we went to the park, and just had a bunch of fun here at home. We had a lot of dance parties and the kids loved all their cousin time. So glad they came to visit. Do it again soon, but this time with cousin savannah!
