Twins First Birthday!

Hurray!!! Radlee and Rayce are One!!!!! we love having cute little one year olds around. For being my earliest and smallest babies, they sure do make up for lost time. Radlee still loves to babble and chat. Rayce is learning all sorts of new things. He started walking about a week before he turned one. Radlee is more subdued.... She can do the things Rayce does, but she does them in her own time. it took her much longer to roll. not because she couldnt, but more she didnt want to. when Rayce crawled she saw how much fun he was having and was rolling all around to join him and then crawling within a week. Walking is much the same. She is taking steps on her own on her birthday, but you gotta be patient for her to show her tricks. Radlee FINALLY!!!! has some teeth! it took her 11 months to finally have a tooth pop through. By her birthday i think she has 2 bottom teeth. Rayce has the 4 front top, 4 front bottom, and maybe some molars? (writing this a year late is really a problem... my bad...) they have grown so much and we just love their personalities. They are so happy and have been sleeping through the night since about 9 or 10 months old. We sure love our twins! Rayce and Radlee are sure special.

Since their birthday is a celebration for all, we met up with Auntie Beez and Aunt Carlee tues night at an air bnb in order to spend their birthday at Pismo beach. it took some figuring out to work out naps with our beach trip, but we ended up having lunch at the beach and some birthday cupcakes. For how excited to eat cupcakes at cousin Alli's birthday a week and a half earlier, they were not nearly as enthused about these ones. could be the sand in their toes that was confusing them... haha. But we loved spending the day with family! the kids loved the beach! radlee hated getting dirty. just like ryker used to. we drove home so they could nap the 2 hrs on the drive. in the evening after the twins were in bed we celebrated independence day with a few fireworks on the driveway. Great day for celebrating!!! it will always be an extra special day for us.
